In the City
No trip to Edinburgh is complete without a visit to the iconic Edinburgh Castle. After exploring the ramparts, enjoy a spot of lunch and a whisky or cocktail at one of the many restaurants and bars on the historic Royal Mile, before walking down The Mound, through Princes Street Gardens, and returning to The Chester Residence in the West End. A spot of shopping en route is also recommended.

Often referred to as Scotland’s finest stately home, Hopetoun House is a stunning example of 18^th Century architecture, with its magnificent Georgian interiors remaining largely unchanged for three centuries.
