Edinburgh townhouse receives Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice award

The Chester Residence has been named No1 in the UK top hotels by the leading global travel website TripAdvisor.

The luxurious collection of five star Georgian townhouses in Edinburgh’s West End was nominated in the 2013 Traveller’s Choice Hotel Awards, often dubbed the ‘Oscars of the hotel world’.

 Now in its 11^th year, it is Tripadvisor’s biggest ever Traveller’s Choice campaign with the awards identifying the most outstanding properties worldwide, in the categories of Top Hotels, Luxury, Bargain, Service, Small Hotels and BBs. The Chester Residence has been ranked 1^st Small Hotel in the UK, 5^th Small hotel in Europe, 5^th Luxury Hotel in the UK, 11^th Small Hotel in the World and 12^th for Service in the UK.

 Tripadvisor is the world’s largest travel website with over 75 million reviews and opinions from travellers around the globe, which enables travellers to plan and have the perfect trip based on the opinions of others.
