Toddlers and Babies

The space and relaxed atmosphere at The Chester Residence is ideal for younger children and babies and we provide a range of treats such as our special baby welcome pack, which includes designer toiletries as well as other goodies available via the My Stay area of this website. We also use the highest quality cots and bedding by Mammas and Pappas.

In addition safety items can be provided to ensure your apartment is as baby/toddler friendly as possible including play pen, socket covers, door gates etc. Baby and toddler friendly toys, games and books are also available on request.

Edinburgh Zoo is a fascinating day out and soon to be home to the UK’s first pandas! The only UK zoo to house koala bears, and the first to breed penguins, the zoo features over 1,000 animals within the site which has stunning views of the city.

If your children love stories, the Scottish Storytelling Centre is a must-visit. A seasonal programme of story-telling, visual arts and crafts, theatre, and multimedia exhibitions ensures there is always something interesting and fun to enjoy. The café also has a children’s menu.

Scotland’s largest marine aquarium Deep Sea World features an amazing underwater safari where children can enjoy watching Europe's largest collection of Sand Tiger Sharks, piranhas, and the world's most poisonous frog.

The best soft play centres in addition to those run by Edinburgh Leisure include Ratho Soft Play and Monkey Bizness.
